Visual Storytelling for Ideas That Deserve to Be Understood
If your message is too complex and too important to get lost, I help you transform it into a visual story that simplifies, connects and lasts.
Hi, I’m Fran! I collaborate with corporate teams, organizations and institutions to create hand-drawn visual storytelling resources. Designed for internal communication, training and strategic planning.

Visual Storytelling Makes Even the Most Complex Ideas Clear and Accessible
Over the past decade, I’ve collaborated with teams at UNESCO, the United Nations, Mastercard, Microsoft, Deloitte and Chile’s Ministries of Environment and Finance.
My work spans sectors as different as sustainability and corporate strategy. The purpose is always the same: to use visual storytelling to make complex ideas understood and remembered.
Every project starts from the same conviction: when a message has clarity, people remember what matters.
A Structured Visual Storytelling Process
With a degree in Visual Arts and a Master's in Advanced Design, my approach is methodical, analytical and precise, in both process and result. That can take the form of a visual summary, a corporate comic, a live drawing presentation, an explainer video or tailored illustrations, depending on what the message needs.
Research-Driven
The first step is always understanding your content deeply. I analyze the structure, objectives and context with editorial judgment for solid conceptualization.
Narrative frameworks
It's not just about looking good. I build visual stories, organizing and prioritizing information through carefully selected visual metaphors.
Designed with intention
Behind every drawing there is logic. I approach each project with precision and intention, making sure every visual element serves a clear purpose.
“Fran has the perfect professional blend of creativity and responsibility. It’s amazing how she captures what the client needs through her art and drawings while applying the methodology and rigor of a highly structured professional—something not usually associated with artists. This is what makes her truly unique”.
Carolina Reyes Foretic | Communications Director | SOFOFA
My Approach to Visual Storytelling (and Why It Works)
Designed to Last and Be Used
The visual storytelling resources I create are not one-time use. I design materials you can revisit, reuse and rely on over time. For onboarding, strategic planning or internal communication.
-
“Fran had so much patience to incorporate successive feedback across all necessary iterations, ultimately producing drawings that will leave a lasting impression on those who view the work”.
Tomás Saieg | Circular Economy Office | Ministry of the Environment Chile
A Collaborative Process, Designed for You
Close collaboration is how the best results happen. I work closely with you to understand your goals, your language and your content. The result reflects your team's values, not a generic formula.
-
“Working with Fran is something worth telling others about. It’s a "wow" experience, just as a service design book would describe”.
Daniela Riquelme | Co-Organizer 9punto5 | Technology and Remote Work Conference
Thoughtful Visuals That Solve Real Problems
The drawing is the result. The conceptualization is the real work. Before any visual storytelling resource, there is a process of analysis and narrative structuring. Understanding what information is essential. Deciding what must be left out. Organizing the message so it makes sense before it takes shape. The drawing is the final container, when clarity is already there.
-
“With Fran, high-level technical discussions take place, as she demands to fully understand everything—this means simplifying the complex, which is the greatest benefit of working with such an outstanding professional”.
Rodolfo Pérez | Project Director | AMUSA
Built on Structure, Guided by Strategy
My process is rooted in structures and workflows that allow me to transform complex concepts into visuals that are clear and easy to use. Behind every visual storytelling piece there is precise logic. Structures that help connect ideas and make them memorable.
A personal touch
Beyond Visual Storytelling
I care about delivering work that truly serves your goals. Drawings and ideas are prototypes: tools that only reach their full potential through dialogue and constant refinement.
I work with organizations across very different sectors, finance, science, technology, environment. That diversity is part of the process: it allows me to enter sustainability, public policy or corporate strategy projects with real context, without you having to explain the problem from scratch.
I’m passionate about learning new things. Every project is an immersion in my client’s world. That curiosity is part of what makes the final result feel genuinely theirs and not generic.
When I’m not working, I’m probably with my husband and our dogs, reading, watching films or working on my second book: a graphic novel. Visual storytelling is not just my work. It’s something I practice by conviction.

“Fran, thank you for your dedication and time. It’s so appreciated to work with someone like you—creative, quick, and kind. I highly recommend your professional services, as they have a unique touch. You are incredibly committed and always meet deadlines. I hope to work with you again in the future!”
